Little Ndaba

Little Ndaba, set in the heart of Africa, is a small business with big ambitions. We design and create stuffed animals on a mission. Over one hundred women from Zambia gather to knit and crochet a great variety of gorgeous animals which are designed to help raise awareness and funding for the conservation of many endangered animals. Our flagship Conservation Collection specializes in creating bespoke designs for organisations that help to tell the stories of real animals on the ground, hence our description of ‘toys with big hearts and long tales’. Our toys are made with 100% African cotton and provide a vital source of income for women who have limited opportunities to earn money. Our goal is to reach and impact as many women across Zambia through our work as possible, at the same time contributing to the preservation of the world’s wild animals and spaces. Our hope and dream is that our work will inspire in little people (and their big people) a love, appreciation and engagement with the planet’s animals, peoples and natural spaces. Fully compliant with toy safety standards for USA, EU, UK, Australia and Canada we sell direct to our customers through our webshop and wholesale to retailers across the world. We were the very delighted recipients of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Judges Brass Ring Award for 2019 for a business that ‘went above and beyond’.
