Our mission is to rescue farm animals from abuse and neglect and give them a permanent home in a cruelty-free environment at the sanctuary where they live for the remainder of their lives.
We educate the public about pigs as pets and the myth of the “mini pig.”
Our sanctuary is named in loving memory of the founder’s mom Ursula (little bear in Latin). Her dream was to have a barn where she would rescue needy animals.
