Live Oak Partners is a growth-oriented private equity firm that brings experience and resources to help lower-middle market companies accelerate their growth, to the benefit of management, employees, and the firm’s investors. LOP intends to make control investments in private, family- or management-owned and operated companies that desire to retain minority equity moving forward. LOP will look to make platform investments within North America, focusing on the Southeastern United States, in companies that hold a leading position in a niche industry, defensible competitive advantage, and/or a diversified leadership and customer base. The financial makeup of the potential portfolio companies will ideally be between $1.0 million to $10.0 million in EBITDA with relatively high margins, predictable and proven financial performance, and actionable organic and acquisitive growth opportunities. Given the diverse experience and knowledge at LOP, Live Oak operates as an industry agnostic firm but focuses on the business services, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
