Live Site Learning CIC

Live Site Learning CIC provides a practical insight to Heritage Craft Skills in Construction and Architecture. To encourage on site experience and hands on learning in underused and forgotten buildings. Our aim is educate and demistify the construction process, using dilapidated buildings as a learning source for architecture and heritage craft skills, bringing a new use to forgotten places. Emphasising the significance of the Heritage of these spaces, and giving people an opportunity to be a part of restoring it. Live Site Learning CIC provides courses to people from all walks of life, providing as much knowledge and exposure to the practical elements of construction as desired. Working in collaboration with local contractors, trainers, schools, colleges, universities, professional bodies, councils and communities with options of funding. Allowing the confidence and trust to be reinstated across all professions and trades, giving opportunity for each role to be explored and understood. Live Site Learning CIC hopes to provide this opportunity to aid the growth of the skillset and knowledge of the construction industry, while giving purpose back to unused spaces. Also, providing property owners with an opportunity for use of their building and its restoration over a period of time.
