We are a registered charity with the mission of reducing distress and isolation by providing a safe and welcoming community space where individuals can drop in and connect with individuals, access resources and enjoy activities. We want to provide a space where individuals can find comfort, activities and joy, and a community hub to information through resources and community collaborations as we believe community, friendships, connections and relationships are central to healing and well-being.
This is a second home, a space for the community by the community, where individuals can relax, be themselves and feel safe. A place where people can meet and make strong connections, find chosen families and – where everyone is welcome.
The Drop In Care Space welcomes anyone 18+ with a specific focus on being an affirming space for individuals who identify as queer, gender diverse, neurodivergent, autistic, disabled or living with mental health struggles/mental illness.
