Liver & Lung

With Malaysian and British roots, Liver & Lung is a theatrical project that champions a global aesthetic, combining world ideas and concepts to develop original musicals internationally. Stylistic and didactic, our aim is to immerse audiences in experiences that champion the unheard, instil faith in human empathy and promote liberal beliefs. We represent the voices of our generation and seek to move and inspire with strong emotions and thought-provoking ideas. In 2017, Liver & Lung won the BOH Cameronian Arts Award for Innovation in Musical Theatre. That year, Liver & Lung was also shortlisted for the Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award. In 2020, Liver & Lung won national awards for Best Direction, Best Performance in a Lead Role and Best Performance in a Supporting Role.
