The Living Laboratory is accelerating the development, evaluation, and adoption of cutting-edge medical solutions and precision medicine tools into routine healthcare practice. Rooted in collaboration, it brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry partners in a ‘triple helix’ partnership - harnessing their collective expertise to accelerate innovation into frontline healthcare and drive improved health outcomes for patients. By fostering a collaborative ecosystem, integrated within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the Living Laboratory helps to translate cutting-edge science and innovation into practical solutions used within the NHS and wider healthcare systems. Through this concerted effort, we seek to enhance patient care, deliver significant cost savings for the NHS, and stimulate economic growth in Govan, Glasgow, and beyond.
