Empowering Liberia’s Next Generation of Changemakers At Liberian Youth Economic Empowerment (LiYEE), our mission is clear: to empower Liberia’s youth to lead, innovate, and flourish by creating sustainable opportunities for personal, social, and economic advancement. We believe in the words of our Executive Director, Comfort Reeves-Brownell: “The future of Liberia lies in the hands of its youth, yet too many young people lack the opportunities, skills, and support necessary to build a sustainable future.” Founded on February 27, 2024, LiYEE operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, GA. We collaborate with youth-serving nonprofits in Liberia, equipping them with the tools, training, and resources to provide vocational training, educational programs, and essential services that drive positive change.
