The Business Area Special Products consists of businesses that either develop and supply products and services to LKAB to increase competitiveness or to create value in other markets. This includes water-powered drilling solutions, explosives, mechanical services and mining and construction services – and industrial minerals.
Our ambition is to grow the Special Products Division to broaden and strengthen LKAB. We expect a significant part of the growth to come from the expansion of our industrial mineral business through LKAB Minerals. We are increasing activity through organic growth, technical innovation and acquisitions, with a clear sustainability profile.
