LMI (Lembaga Manajemen Infaq)

Lembaga Manajemen Infaq (Laznas LMI) is a Professional Philanthropic Institution, aiming to elevate the dignity of the poor (underprivileged communities) through various empowerment programs ranging from economic, educational, da'wah, humanitarian, and health programs throughout Indonesia. Laznas LMI has collaborated with many companies and communities to maximize the utilization of social funds (zakat, Infaq, sadaqah, and waqf) along with CSR funds, reaching more than Rp30 Billion for 60,000+ beneficiaries as a benchmark for community empowerment. LMI was founded in 1995, based in the Surabaya City. In 2005, LMI was legalized as a provincial amil zakat institution, with the Decree of the Governor of East Java Number: 451/1702/032/2005. A decade later, LMI was confirmed as national amil zakat institution, according to Decree of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia No. 184 in 2016. LMI has won the Baznas Award 2017 in the National Amil Zakat Institution category by the title of "Best Distribution and Utilization". LMI has also allied with International level organizations, by contributing as a member of the Indonesia Humanitarian Alliance (IHA).
