About Laboratory of Mechanics Paris-Saclay

The LMPS, created on 1 January 2022, is a joint research unit of the University of Paris-Saclay, the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, CentraleSupélec and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), formed from the merger of the LMT (Mechanics and Technology Laboratory) and MSSMat (Mechanics of Soils, Structures and Materials) laboratories. The director of the LMT is Pierre-Alain BOUCARD and the deputy director is Véronique AUBIN. The LMPS is dedicated to research into all aspects of solid mechanics: mechanics of materials and structures, civil engineering, fine experimentation and high-performance numerical modelling.
