Artist-activist Claudy Jongstra brings her artistic vision and holistic textile expertise to LOADS – a vibrant creative hub at the center of a net-positive textile collective – initiated in collaboration with her son, Jesk Jongstra. Loads Collection is handcrafted with Demeter-certified, biodynamic mono fabrics, composed of 100% traceable and biodegradable natural fibres and plant-based colours, cultivated on a gentle scale through biodynamic agriculture and regenerative shepherding. LOADS Collection's wearable and homeware products empower farmers, shepherds, family-run spinning mills, and socially inclusive ateliers. All these incredible partners in agriculture and craft contribute to the ecosystem and community, bringing our timeless heirloom pieces to you. LOADS’s products range from interior items like benches, cushions, and plaids to haute couture clothing, with regenerative textiles as the guiding principle. This startup challenges the status quo by making no concessions, giving it's clients a fully transparent and ethical product. In our opinion, a sense of luxury cannot arise from depleting resources and exploiting people; it comes from mindful stewardship.
