Healthcare is converging to the home as more and more patients see doctors virtually, yet patients are constantly forced to go to a lab for a simple blood collection. This is because labs require plasma for 85% of the 2 billion blood draws done yearly in the US, but plasma can only be obtained from blood with specialized lab equipment.
