But when his band broke up, he used the band truck to help people move around the Twin Cities. After three increasingly successful seasons, David knew it was time to take his business to the next level. He changed the company name from Happy Movers to Local Motion, invested in more trucks, hired more staff, and set out to make his company a household name. Local Motion is one of the top moving companies in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We lead in technical innovation in the moving and storage industry. For two years in a row we have received honors as one of the Twin Cities' fastest growing privately held companies by The Twin Cities Business Journal.
