Lockdown Legacy

TheLockDownLegacy was formed by a group of friends who share a love for music, venues, gigs, festivals. What started as a quiz amongst friends back in March 2020 has since evolved into a series of all-weekend music events that we’ve held over the last few months. Last weekend was LockdownLegacy12; a 3-day event featuring 30 DJs /musicians playing back-to-back sets of all varieties from Friday evening though to Sunday midnight. We've raise over £10,000 in the process on 5 fundraisers for charities that are close to our hearts such as the stroke association, Alzheimers, Mind, the Trussel trust and Roonprai Spinal with the last event raising money for a close friend of one of our DJ's who suffered a terrible cycle accident which resulted in a stroke. We see the lockdown legacy as a positive outcome of the Covid situation and something that will continue past lockdown and the current restrictions hence the name "the lockdown legacy" Please feel free to get in touch if you would like us to fundraise for your charity, you would like to join the DJ roster or join us on mixcloud to view our live events and and check out some previous mixes.
