TheLockDownLegacy was formed by a group of friends who share a love for music, venues, gigs, festivals.
What started as a quiz amongst friends back in March 2020 has since evolved into a series of all-weekend music events that we’ve held over the last few months. Last weekend was LockdownLegacy12; a 3-day event featuring 30 DJs /musicians playing back-to-back sets of all varieties from Friday evening though to Sunday midnight.
We've raise over £10,000 in the process on 5 fundraisers for charities that are close to our hearts such as the stroke association, Alzheimers, Mind, the Trussel trust and Roonprai Spinal with the last event raising money for a close friend of one of our DJ's who suffered a terrible cycle accident which resulted in a stroke.
We see the lockdown legacy as a positive outcome of the Covid situation and something that will continue past lockdown and the current restrictions hence the name "the lockdown legacy"
