Locus ESD Ltd is a technical consultancy focusing on upstream BD / M&A, asset evaluation and field development, encompassing the entire E&P work scope from geophysics to economics. We work with our clients to shape, frame and maximise their opportunities, bringing to bear our technical insights, knowledge of business processes and high-quality integration of people and information. At Locus ESD, we tailor our approach based on the requirements of individual projects and processes, blending pragmatism with innovative and original thinking to deliver results regardless of time frame or other constraints. It is our aim to become established as a leading technical consultancy in the UK and beyond. The company was founded by Gordon McRae, the former Reservoir Engineer / Investor Manager in Verus Petroleum. This was a private equity funded oil company backed by HitecVision, where he was instrumental in $600 million of equity and debt funded asset acquisitions before the company reached its exit in November 2019. Prior to this, he worked at EnQuest, Centrica, Venture Production and Shell, and has over 20 years of industry experience in various roles on a wide range of projects.
