The company was founded by Gordon McRae, the former Reservoir Engineer / Investor Manager in Verus Petroleum. This was a private equity funded oil company backed by HitecVision, where he was instrumental in $600 million of equity and debt funded asset acquisitions before the company reached its exit in November 2019. Prior to this, he worked at EnQuest, Centrica, Venture Production and Shell, and has over 20 years of industry experience in various roles on a wide range of projects.
