Our story began in 1938 when Mr. Alfredo Woodward Telléz founded the company under the name of Transmaritima S. de R.L. de C.V. at the birthplace of what is known today as the Port of Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas. We launched our work with the ambitious ship dispatch project for Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), the only gasoline subsidiary in the country at the time.
Toward the end of the 1960s, we participated in the strategic planning of imports and exports of what is known today as the Nissan Mexicana automotive plant in Cuernavaca and Aguascalientes. Today, we are a leading international company because we understand the challenge of customized logistics and supply chains and we value excellence and quality service.
In our more than 80 years of experience as customs brokers, we have earned the complete trust of our clients and have succeeded in our endeavors. The following are examples of our successes:
Import of the largest regasification plant in Latin America with a capacity of 300,000 tons of the total terminal gas industry
Imports of wind power plants for sustainable energy generation for environmental protection
Repowering Manzanillo’s thermoelectric plant through imports of turbogenerators and electronic equipment
Our Woodward Logistics team has also developed the following core projects, among others:
Management of more than 85,000 TEUs per year
Imports of more than 80% of the total tons of sheet steel, profiles, and wire that enter into Mexico through the Port of Manzanillo **

Imports of gantry cranes, post-Panamax, and top loaders for various terminals across Mexico
Planning and coordination of logistics of domestic and international transit within Mexico and the reincorporation of cargo into the American market
