Established in 1980, Lohashilpi is engaged in manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and exporting of Rubber Machinery, Pharmaceutical Machinery, Packing Materials and Rubber Estate Accessories. Lohashilpi has been constantly striving to bring down the cost of production incurred by rubber growers to make rubber sheets. From the year 1989, Lohashilpi has been manufacturing hand-operated rubber rollers. In the year 1999, we designed and launched our first Automatic Rubber Sheeting Battery which has a capacity to make 750 sheets per hour with just one operator. Our portfolio includes hand-operated rubber rollers, electric rubber rollers, automatic rubber sheeting machines, rubber sheet washing machines, latex dispensers, smoke houses and more. SMOKEHOUSES We have achieved a breakthrough in developing a smokehouse which can dry rubber sheets within 36 to 40 hours with very little firewood being consumed for drying. We are developing smokehouses powered by solar power, biogas and other renewable sources of energy. RUBBER PROCESSING CENTRES Lohashilpi has developed the technology and process to make smoked rubber sheets from field latex at the lowest possible cost. We can ensure that the quality of sheets produced is anywhere from RSS-3 and upwards. We achieve this by mechanizing the operations in a lot of areas and bringing down the cost of inputs. Our Automatic Rubber Sheeting Machines, Latex Dispensers, Smokehouses and Dish Washing Machine (under development) play a key role in achieving these objectives. With these strengths in hand, we are setting up Latex Processing Centres in different parts of India. The capacity of these centres range from 600 sheets per day to 9000 sheets per day. An investor who sets up these Latex Processing Centres can expect to recover his investment in 1 ½ to 3 ½ years’ time.
