LOKALİST

LOKALİST was born out of a true love for films, sounds and languages. Our ultimate goal is to enable Turkish audiences to enjoy world entertainment as much as those enjoying it in the original language. Founded in 2017 by sound engineer Ömer Atalay and linguist Seçil İşlek, post-graduates from SAE Istanbul and Humboldt University of Berlin respectively, LOKALİST is a Turkish post-production house focusing on localisation services such as translation, transcription, dubbing, voice-over and subtitling. We also offer music production, sound design, video editing and conversion operations. LOKALİST holds high-end electronic and technological equipment, which is regularly upgraded, and employs the sector’s most skilled and experienced translators, subtitlers, recording technicians, voice artists, dubbing directors and audio engineers. All Lokalists, freelance and in-house, periodically undergo training sessions to ensure they keep abreast of the latest technology and business practice trends.
