Lokananta Gallery, as the first state-owned historical music heritage site in Indonesia, showcases a diverse collection of music artifacts, archives, documents, memorabilia, and a timeline depicting Lokananta’s development since the 1950s, accompanied by stories of the popular music industry’s history and regions from all over Indonesia. Formerly, Lokananta was a record pressing plant in the mid-50's and also the record label for Indonesian legendary musicians such as Waldjinah, Gesang, Bing Slamet, Bubi Chen, Titiek Puspa, to name a few.
Lokananta is now managed and operated by PT Ruang Riang Lokananta, a subsidiary of M Bloc Group.
