About Longdendale High School

Popular and always oversubscribed subject offered at KS4 as part of the options process. All members of the department are passionate and enthusiastic Business specialists, who are dedicated to raising standards of achievement for all of the students who study Business Studies at Longdendale. Business Studies is taught in ICT suites and in normal classrooms. Students study the GCSE Edexcel Business Studies qualification which is split into three units one controlled assessment and two exams. Last year we achieved record results with nearly 80 of our students achieving A -C grades.
