Named after Prof. Yuan Longping, the “Father of Hybrid Rice”, Yuan Longping High-Tech Agriculture Co., Ltd. was founded in China in 1999 by Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center, and Academician Prof. Yuan Longping, who also serves as its honorary
chairman.
