Welcome to Longsight Eagles Football Club. Our main objective is to provide football opportunities to enthusiastic young players and coaches, while building positive pathways for the next generation at an affordable cost. Longsight is seen as one of the most deprived areas in Manchester, where aspiring young footballers will face many barriers in participating in organised games. An ethnically diverse town facing poverty and a lack of sporting opportunities, has some of the most talented players in the area. These individuals can be led astray by negative influences. Through mentoring and coaching, we believe we can produce young role models with footballing abilities, by setting positive environments that can bring communities closer together for the hopes of brighter futures. Manchester is fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the world's best footballing clubs. Building relationships with these clubs can bridge the gap by offering playing, coaching and employment opportunities, increasing the possibilities of higher achievements.
