Loom is a platform that matches content creators to brands that want to gain exposure on social media. Here's how it works: Brands create campaigns for products or services they want to promote on platforms such as Instagram or Snapchat. Content creators then apply to the campaigns that match their interests, values, and aesthetics. If a content creator gets picked for a campaign, he or she receives the product or service for free, creates photo and/or video content about the product in his or her own voice, and submits it to the brand for approval. It's win-win: the brand gains organic, grass-roots exposure through the content creator's follower base, and the content creator gets to receive cool products and services from the brands they love
