Loopa was founded in 2024 by veteran clinical data managers frustrated by the persistent gaps and delays in quality assurance for multicenter trials. Having seen firsthand how a single overlooked data point could derail months of work and compromise patient safety, they set out to build a software platform that brings true surgical precision to every step of the QA/QC process. Drawing inspiration from the Spanish word lupa (“magnifying glass”), they named their venture Loopa to embody an obsessive focus on detail—because in clinical research, small errors can have big consequences. From their first prototype, Loopa’s intuitive dashboards and automated checks won early acclaim at a leading CRO, solidifying the founders’ belief that streamlined, transparent oversight is the future of trustworthy trial data.
