Loreto Ministries

Loreto Ministries, founded in 2015, oversees the governance of educational works for the Loreto Province of Australia and South East Asia. In January 2023, it became a Ministerial Public Juridic Person (MPJP) under Canon Law. Starting in November 2023, the MPJP Stewards assumed full responsibility for the education ministries, uniting both civil and canonical responsibilities under one entity. Each school has a unique spirit underpinned by the values of the Gospel and the charism of Mary Ward. Our vast network of friends, including both past and present students, continue to contribute enormously to Australian society and the Church in a myriad of ways. Our Mission Continuing the mission of Jesus as seekers of truth and doers of justice: We offer excellent Catholic education within the Mary Ward tradition. We provide leadership for vibrant and flourishing ministries. We collaborate with others to build a just and sustainable world. In a spirit of discernment we act with freedom and integrity and we are people of joy.
