Lost Together Stays

As a family of 5 who loves to travel, The Ratcliffes know just what you’re looking for in a vacation. Catherine (originally from Canada) and her husband, Grant (born in the USA!), love exploring new places with their 3 daughters alongside. While we are animal lovers at heart (dogs and cats) all of our vacation homes unfortunately are not pet friendly. This is a combination of safety and a requirement from our cleaning staff. We decided to buy properties in our favorite holiday destinations, the Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia and coastal Florida. Given the high demands of stressful jobs and busy, bright daughters, we wanted these homes as places we could go and make memories as a family and entice our daughters back to the nest as they’ve begun forming their own lives. We started this journey after losing both of our moms which created a bit of a carpe diem spirit within us as well as a desire to create something that would be a tangible legacy for our girls to have after we're gone. We understood how important those memories of vacations are and wanted to be a part of helping families and friends make memories that they would be able to look back on with fondness and longing for years to come. As working parents with kids who are busy with their own lives - even if that is simply the drama of school - we recognize that sometimes vacations can make even people who love each other deeply feel a bit lost. Our philosophy is much like the song our company is founded on the principal that if we are going to be lost, we want to be lost together. When you choose to stay at one of our homes, you can expect ample ideas of what to do together as well as tips to sneak in a bit of alone time and space to regroup and reframe from the normal family/friend relationships. As a family of travelers, we know how important it is to get the little things right and help you focus on what's important - making memories that will last a lifetime.
