LOUDER (The Lebanese Organization for Unity- Defending Equal Rights) tries to open the gates through civic education, empowering, defense, training, activities and arts to broaden the horizon of humanity.
LOUDER is a non-profitable, not-political, and non-governmental organization founded in May 2015 as a need to grass root human rights defenders to defend human rights from the challenges and violations. LOUDER supports human quality education, training of human rights defenders and professional groups. It aims to build a forum of trial observers to guarantee the international criteria of fair trials.
In the world that we live in, imminent change is coming upon our youth for they are motivated to cultivate and sustain change. LOUDER aims to develop educational materials that focus on human rights in the Arab region, and create awareness on the rights of humans through ARTivism (videos, graphics, theater, music, graffiti, drawings..) It also aims to inspire youth to be advocates for peace and tolerance, and to strive to root human rights as being the core incorporated into both formal and informal trainings. LOUDER seeks to support the enthusiasm of students and youth to participate in social reform, and create opportunities for them to venture into a setting that will allow them to maximize their potential in current and future situations.
MISSION
The mission of LOUDER is to educate, empower and support grass roots to claim and defend for their rights. It aims to create a network of human rights defenders and trial observers to guarantee the fulfillment of the Rule of Law in societies suffering from human rights violation and extremism.
