Louth Filmmaker Society is a organisation that objectives are: *To provide local communities with an avenue into the film and television industry. *To train and facilitate members in the creation of film and media productions. *To fundraise for the society’s creative endeavours and operational costs. *To promote the society and its work, to grow its membership and to establish its credibility. *To enter the society’s work into film festivals and other relevant competitions both locally and internationally. The organisation aims are: *To establish the society as a production company with which to promote regional filmmakers. *To establish a supportive society that is conducive to a creative, collaborative environment, where members can *learn and grow as artists in their respective discipline(s). *To facilitate the education of local youths in all aspects of the creation of film and media productions. *To expand the membership and enhance the society’s skill set. *To raise the standard of the society’s productions and training over time.
