Our world praises conformity and perfection. People aren't taught to expect unconditional love and acceptance just the way they are, regardless of imperfections. We're often taught to master the imposter, but seldom shown how to discover our authentic selves.⁠⁠ At Love and Acceptance, we felt a desire to help. We believe throughout our experiences, personally and professionally, and through our training, we can help many through the services we offer. We saw a need for areas we consistently found gaps of service. This led us to creating space virtually for couples who have previously struggled with seeing improvement in other therapy or coaching services; BIPOC couples and individuals who often feel unseen, unheard and uncomfortable with therapists or coaches who don't understand the context of culture; Interracial and Multicultural couples and individuals who face challenges with the blending of two or more different cultures; women who feel as if they've catered to everyone's else's needs and fit into the mold of who other's needed them to be while struggling to know who they are at their core; men who've never had the space, energy or awareness to share the thoughts, feel the feelings and connect the dots; and therapists who've been everything to everybody, but have struggled in the area of self-care, burnout or achieving work/life balance. We’ve worked alongside many individuals and couples from all walks of life and the truth is none of us have the cheat code to living your best life. We learn from our experiences and use the tools we find along the way. Therapy is a tool that I've witnessed change lives. Coaching is a tool that’s brought clarity, empowerment and change to many. Consulting is a tool that’s allowed others to build businesses and for some become better at the service they provide.
