Fortune Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank or LPBank, formerly known as LienVietPostBank and LienVietBank, operates under Banking License No. 91/GP-NHNN issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam dated 28th March 2008. The founding shareholders of LPBank are Him Lam Joint Stock Company, Saigon Trading Corporation (SATRA) and Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Company (SASCO). In 2011, Vietnam Post Corporation (VNPost) contributing capital to the LienVietBank with the value of the Postal Savings Service Company (VPSC) and in cash, LienVietBank was approved by the Prime Minister and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam to change its name to Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank. Along with this name change, Vietnam Post Corporation officially became the largest shareholder of LPBank.
