Our focus lies in pioneering advancements in reaction engineering at fluid-solid interfaces, driving sustainable innovations in: • Biomass conversion • Heterogeneous catalysis • Lignin chemistry • Bioplastics • Green solvents Our interdisciplinary research spans three complementary branches: • Biomass Deconstruction and Chemical Functionalization: Transforming renewable resources into valuable chemical building blocks. • Catalyst Synthesis for Renewable Molecule Production: Designing heterogeneous catalysts to produce valuable molecules from either biomass or carbon dioxide. • Biobased Product Design: Developing sustainable materials and bioproducts to address real-world challenges.
