LPM Foundation

At LPM Foundation we advocate and promote the importance of mental health awareness and wellness in Nigeria. A huge part of this is our dedication to helping people get access to mental health care, therapists, support groups, other mental health professionals and mental health first aid. Our programs: MH-SPA (Mental Health Support for Persons Affected) - Through MH-SPA we host and facilitate support groups, help persons with lived experiences get referrals for evaluation or consult as well as access to therapy and psychologists with out shame or prejudice. PEMH (Peer Educators for Mental Health) - This program entails the training of volunteers and allies on the basic knowledge of mental health, how to communicate with persons with lived experience. We coach peer educators on how to champion mental health wellness in their immediate environment. As part of PEMH, we visit different communities and local governments in Lagos, Nigeria to educate the youths and residents on mental health, eradicate the stigma and shame that surrounds mental health as well as ways to to get the help they need and deserve. Project Get Naked - This is our annual mental health awareness campaign program where famous faces, influencers and notables lend their voice to mental health cause through photography and audio-visual methods. SAVE - Creatives for Mental Health - As part of this program, we collaborate with creatives from a wide range of industries to use their skills and craft to create mental health awareness pieces based on the annual theme.
