Founded in 2020 by Luke Robbins, LR Design is a Cambridge-based design consultancy with expertise in two core pillars: Motorcycle Design and Industrial Design. Our mission is to craft innovative, beautiful, and functional designs that challenge industry norms and leave a lasting impact.
Motorcycle Design
With roots in Automotive and Transport Design from Coventry University, LR Design specializes in creating premium motorcycle concepts, from electrifying flat-trackers to cutting-edge active aerodynamics. We collaborate with start-ups and established brands alike, offering expertise in design ideation, Color, Trim, and Graphics (CTG), and AI-enhanced workflows. Notable collaborations include Royal Enfield, Arc Vehicle, and Ola Electric, with projects showcased at prestigious events like EICMA.
Industrial Design
Our industrial design expertise spans robotics, automotive, and product design, blending cross-industry inspiration from Architecture, Fashion, and Product Design. We use advanced AI tools, such as MidJourney and Vizcom, alongside industry-standard software like Autodesk Alias, to innovate and refine every stage of the process. Key projects include partnerships with Dogtooth Technologies and MOKE International.
