The reputation of the LSAT as the premier measure of assessing reading and reasoning skills extends far beyond the United States, Canada, and Australia. Many countries consult with LSAC about their legal education programmes. LSAC’s expertise in test development and psychometric is a valuable resource and model for institutions seeking to achieve world-class standards in admissions testing. LSAC creates and administers the Spanish LSAT for law colleges in Puerto Rico. In addition, for over a decade LSAC has provided an admission test for Peking University School of Transnational Law in Shenzhen, China. Since 2017, Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, Bhutan’s first and only law college, has used the LSAC-created LSAT—Bhutan. In 2009, LSAC introduced the LSAT—India, a version of the LSAT specifically designed for law colleges in India. Over 35,000 law aspirants have taken the test, seeking admission to LL.B. and LL.M. programmes at some of the most prestigious law colleges in India.
