Life Science Poirot Consulting (LSPC) is run by Dr Olivier Poirot.
Olivier is a self-motivated PMP® certified Life Scientist with 10+ years’ experience in R&D. He initiated, planned, executed, and monitored multiple concurrent research projects, collaborating with both academic groups and biopharmaceutical companies. He effectively performed projects for AC Immune, a leading biopharmaceutical company, and Asceneuron, a spin-off of Merck Serono. He is currently working as consultant and Science Translational Manager for Alveonix AG.
Olivier has a unique expertise in peripheral (e.g. neuropathic pain, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease) and central (e.g. Alzheimer’s) nervous system disorders, drug targets (e.g. ion channels and GPCRs), and therapies (e.g. positive allosteric modulators).
Olivier is especially skilled in writing and reviewing grant applications – he obtained 5 grants of which a CTI grant − and scientific publications.
He offers this scientific and technical expertise to Biotech & Pharma companies and Research organizations to improve their project success rate by providing scientific writing (e.g. grant proposals) and R&D project management support.
