uOttawa's Law School Survival Guide

The Law School Survival Guide is a club dedicated to empowering Common Law students at the University of Ottawa with the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed academically and personally. As a hub for guidance and growth, we offer a comprehensive range of workshops and wellness events designed to help students navigate the challenges of legal education. From mastering essential academic skills like legal writing, exam preparation, and time management to building confidence through networking and interview workshops, we hope to equip students with practical strategies to excel. Beyond academics, we aim to prioritize student wellness by hosting several events focused on alleviating the mental and emotional pressures of law school. Through stress management workshops, peer support groups, and community-building events, we will work towards a supportive environment where students can thrive, develop resilience, and foster balance. Our mission is to support law students through the rigors of their education, with a community of peers promoting success, self-care, and personal growth every step of the way.
