LSU Center for Economics, Business, and Policy Research

The Center for Economics, Business, and Policy Research (CEBPR) conducts applied business, economics, and public affairs research. Our mission is to provide relevant, timely research and insights that inform decision-making, shape policy, and advance the fields of business, economics, and public affairs, ultimately improving the overall health and well-being of the state of Louisiana and its residents. CEBPR's research is highly collaborative and multidisciplinary, leveraging the collective strengths and expertise of all departments in the Ourso College and diverse scholars from across the LSU system campuses. The center pursues a mix of federal, state, local, and non-profit funding to address key Louisiana business, economics, and public affairs concerns. Our research spans a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, healthcare outcomes, economic policy, and community development. The Center for Economics, Business, and Policy Research is committed to advancing research that makes a difference in Louisiana and beyond.
