LSVenture is a venture scouting and seed management company. Our focus is life-science and chemical industry related areas. Our venture scouting business deals with finding innovative technologies and ventures for our industrial partners. Our partners gain access trough us to technologies in development phases and geographical areas not directly accessible for our partners like Russia and the Baltics. Additionally our partners like working with us as we take on the task of prefiltering the masses of technologies and ventures. Our seed management business deals with investments into scientists and start-up companies and supporting them with commercialization of technologies. We do this against equity stakes or based on success fee. Mostly, our investments involve in-kind contributions such as protecting the technology on our cost, providing scale-up or pilot-manufacturing facilities through our partners, performing market evaluations and gathering customer insight, establishing sales networks among others.
