With a firm belief that every child has a unique strength, that they were born for a time like Now and that Technology and the Intelligence Era are their future... led LTL Robotics into existence. “It is estimated that 65% of children entering primary school will one day end up in positions that the title for it has not yet been determined .” (McLeod, Scott and Karl Fisch, “Shift Happens”). At LTL, with our industry experience, we train and develop children for this from the ages: 7 - 18+ and help them explore new career possibilities. We guide our children towards unique career matches to their personality, interests, values and skills through our a unique Career Discovery process from ages: 12+. With 35 years in the field of Psychology and global industry experience across all market sectors, it ideally suited us to evaluate and develop children for this exciting and challenging new World of Work. Our primary training and development offering includes: 1. Computer Science with Programming (HTML & Javascript) Ages: 7 - 11 years The Computer Science curriculums are all aligned to the CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards used in American schools. 2. Specialised Programming: Python Ages 11/12-18+ years The Python program used is from Prof. C Severance from the University of Michigan. The next level is a preparation course towards their official Python Developer Certification (PCEP international examination) from the Python Institute. 3. Robotics and Programming Ages: 7 - 16 years A formal Robotics programming is the foundation to mechanical vocational development as well as the accompanying programming skills. We compete in the annual FLL Robotics International Championship in South Africa at Regional and National level each year.
