LUCES is a multidisciplinary network of researchers from academia, technological centers and industry, working towards the development of luminescent sensors for solving environmental security problems. More than 110 scientists from 33 countries and 86 Universities and Companies active in the field of supramolecular chemistry, chemical sensors, (nano)materials, electronics, theoretical calculations as well as experts in different analytical techniques, researchers from industry and interested stakeholders, join forces and expertise to bridge the gap between fundamental research and the market for creating affordable devices for monitoring environmental security.
LUCES roadmap includes: chemosensors – supramolecular chemistry – detection of contaminants – luminescence – prototypes and devices.
LUCES is foreseen as an international reference network that can be contacted by any researcher and/or company looking for specific solutions in this topic.
