Court of District and Sessions Judge, Lucknow and other subordinate courts. Court of District and Sessions Judge, Lucknow comes under the administrative control of the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad. District & Sessions Court, Lucknow was earlier situated adjacent to Lucknow Bench of Hon’ble High Court in Qaiserbagh, Lucknow. However, upon shifting of the High Court to a new state of art campus in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, 25 Courts of the Old Building of the High Court, Lucknow Bench was handed over by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad to District Judgeship Lucknow. Apart from the newly acquired Old Building of the High Court, Lucknow Bench, the Civil Court Complex consists of three blocks: the North Block; the South Block; and the Multi-Storied Building. The District & Sessions Judge Court along with 24 A.D.J. Courts/Special Courts of A.D.J. Level are functioning in the Old Campus of the High Court, Lucknow Bench. Chief Administrative Office, Central Nazarat, Accounts Sections, Computer Center, Record Rooms, Central Copying, D.L.S.A. Lucknow and Commercial Court, Lucknow are also functioning in the Old Campus of the High Court, Lucknow Bench. Apart from these the other courts remain functioning in the adjacent Civil Court Complex.
