The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences (FESS) of the University of Latvia (UL) was established in 2024 by merging the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics as well as the Centre for European and Transition Studies. FESS conducts studies and research in economics, finance and business, sociology and social work, political science, as well as media and communication studies. It offers the development of digital age skills and provides students the opportunity to fulfill their business ideas. FESS has over 3,000 students enrolled in 30 study programmes at all levels of studies.
