Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico (LTPR) specializes in maintenance, repair and overhaul also known as MRO services. This world-class base maintenance facility is a center of excellence for the Airbus A320 range of short and medium-range aircraft. The facility covers 20,000 square meters at Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla, known for being the longest airport runway in the Caribbean.
Since our foundation in February 2014, and start of operations in July 2015, we stand out for being a 5-line facility with over 300 highly qualified personnel performing in-depth maintenance and overhaul checks for both North and South American customers.
Thanks to the latest technology, one line offers the possibility to perform aircraft painting and maintenance in the same bay. This represents a significant advantage, as there is no need to tow the affected aircraft to a separate hangar.
Our strategic location between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean allows us to prioritize the needs of customers from North, Central and South America.
