Giannis "Lungo" Makris is an accomplished excecutive with a BA in Marketing Communications and extensive experience in Marketing, Sales, Corporate Operations, Design, and Processing, which he has cultivated since 2002. In March 2020, he established the Lungo Studio to focus on premium project design and forge long-lasting partnerships with exceptional individuals. He operates under the principles of truthfulness and clarity, guided by the philosophy that quality, reasoning, boldness, and the freedom to express and embrace new ideas drive successful and impactful collaborations. With steadfast beliefs that "design must be authentic and transparent" and "remarkable products should be crafted with impeccable attention to detail," he strives for the ideal balance of aesthetics, functionality, and optimal cost efficiency. In addition to his academic and professional background, Giannis has earned a chef's diploma. Since the Spring of 2014, he has devoted a significant amount of his personal time to perfecting the craft of Artisan Pizza, tirelessly experimenting with handcrafted Artisan Dough, and traveling around the globe to discover the secrets of a flawless crust. His pursuit quickly turned into a culinary mission to test, perfect, and share the most unforgettable pizza experience, which led to hosting Artisan Pizza Private Dining Events and delivering Premium Restaurant Consulting services to various audiences in unique locations; under the brand name of “Gianni Lungo”. Building on his extensive knowledge and expertise, he has spent the last seven years engaged in researching, designing, and prototyping for his self-designed project: "LUNGO Strumenti Artigianali," a made-to-measure artisan equipment lineup. The official launch is slated for the second quarter of 2024 and will provide aspiring HoReCa and heavy industry businesses with the tools and technology needed to improve their craftsmanship, display, and overall productivity.
