Luquos Energy Limited focuses on developing advanced flow battery energy storage technologies for stationary and automobile application. Advanced energy storage system (ESS) is the crucial technology for the future target of carbon neutralization. The large-scale utilization of renewable energy requires energy storage systems to provide reliable electricity supply. However, the currently used energy storage technology, Li-ion batteries has flaming risks, which increase safety concerns of the society. The mission of Luquos Energy is to develop an inherently safe, scalable, low-cost and refuellable aqueous flow battery energy storage system. Our flow battery system incorporates advanced electrolytes, electrodes and separator, to provide a safe and economical solution for grid energy storage and automobile applications.
