Owner + Principal Designer Luke Johnson has a long track record of bringing award-winning design capabilities to the many diverse product development projects he has worked on, spanning a wide gamut of product categories, with small appliances, electronics, medical devices, toys, sporting goods, personal health, retail displays, hardware and housewares in the mix. And while awards are certainly nice to have in the pocket, they are simply ephemeral fluff without designing the product in a way that is manufacturable, cost-effective, and reliable, while providing an experience that resonates with the target market and end user. For many projects, Luke works solo with the client throughout the entire design process, from early research and conceptual design through to mechanical engineering development and DFMA. Whenever a particular project's larger scale or more complex scope requires it, Luke brings on a few of his very trusted ME & EE partners to provide robust additional capabilities. We offer design services tailored to clients depending where they have a current gap, so we can help from the very beginning of a project with research and conceptual exploration and continue providing competence all the way to manufacturing, or simply jump in to assist with some particular needs somewhere along the way.
