My name is Szymon, and just like you, I’m a patient living with an LVAD.
My journey began in September 2024, when I received a left ventricular assist device (LVAD).
That surgery changed my life—not only in terms of my health, but also emotionally and socially.
My Mission
I want to support other patients like me by sharing knowledge and personal experience—so that no one feels lost or alone after receiving an LVAD.
It’s deeply important to me that everyone feels accepted, safe, and valued.
I believe in a holistic approach to living with an LVAD—caring for both the body and the mind.
I truly believe that open conversations, shared experiences, and mutual support can significantly improve the quality of life for people living with this device.
