Representation of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to the Federation

The representative of the state to the federation safeguards the interests of the Federal State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with regard to the National Government and the other federal states. She has a staff of 23 to support her. As the contact partner for all issues of interest for the state, the representative works closely with the federal ministries, the parliamentary groups in the Bundestag, parliamentary members from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, federal institutions, foreign diplomatic missions represented in Berlin, associations and representatives from industry, science, culture, the press, trade unions, churches and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
