When I put together an event, I look at it from beginning to end, the
concept, the progression and the eventual tale it tells and legacy it leaves. I aim to draw any messages and themes from the content and create a look and feel that projects them into the narrative of the experience. The goal is to encourage curiosity to build and innovation to grow.
Finding unusual and surprising locations to illustrate the narrative is the most enjoyable part of the puzzle, the event is then peppered with activities that further underline this. I work in close conjunction with any third parties to ensure that the food, the audio visual and the entertainment not only fit the theme, but inspire participants, make them think and hopefully introduce an element of surprise.
I believe, now more than ever, people are looking for purpose; to understand their place in the world and the characteristics of the organizations to which they belong.
